Spring 2020

Diptych Each painting 4’x6’ Acrylic And charcoal on Canvas
In this work, I wanted to visually represent my idea of Miami, Florida, and what happens with global warming. Thinking of Miami homes' memory and their color palettes further break down the architectural quality into simple shapes and color palettes. While bringing in physical quality of paint and drawing to evoke a feeling of growth and decay that will overwhelm the city as sea level continues to rise.
